My daughter, who’s in the ‘top two’ favorite backpacking partners, Kim finally tied the knot, bit the biscuit, got hitched…oh what the hell…got married. Her beau Lou is probably the greatest guy that we could ever hope for in a son-in-law. What a blast we had at the reception. Can’t remember a better party that went on into the wee hours…and they even stayed to the last minute…unheard of. I know that they’ll flourish for the rest of their lives. Their wonderful son Louie (ring bearer) was perfect through the whole thing. Kim’s been planning this for years. Always wanted the big deal.

My New Fantasy Adventure Book
I think that you’re in for a treat. If you like fantasy adventures I’m about one third into it and expecting my new book to be out in around a years’ time. I’ve written about some of our new backpacking adventures and added a lot of spice. The hikes are real but some of the characters and the plot are fictitious. Travel to a new dimension…feel what the characters feel…see what they see or do not realize what is seen. Physics have changed when you venture here….and that’s ok, but don’t go further. You may not come back. Check my website out. I’ll be giving a sneak preview in a few weeks.

Crazy Movie
HI friends. I’ve been away since January working on a new project to promote my new book. I made a series of five movies showing how to load my backpack. It was a blast. Pam and I had such fun making these and I think that you’ll love them too. There are some really crazy antics that will make you roar…or if you are more serious than I would like you to be, you might just think that I’m a nut-case and need to be locked up. I will soon be uploading it onto my YouTube channel. The link is at the bottom of this page. So many of you loved my adventure book that I have out right now, called ‘Friday on the Trail’. It’s about some of the adventures that I had on the Bruce Trail in Ontario Canada. The first chapter has to do with a bit of a bio about myself growing up, and how I somehow fell in love with backpacking. hypothermia
I learned something new today. When your body (core) get cold, your system shunts more blood to the core area to protect it from hypothermia...robbing blood from your extremities...feet and hands etc. So next time my feet or hands get cold... or I want to have sex... I'm going to put on a sweater ...:D :D :D

He has a learning disability & studies over 4hrs a night...The Girl you just called ugly? She spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her...The Boy you just tripped? New Publisher
Hey Friends. For my first book I just picked a publisher out of the blue. I didn't think to investigate too much and now I want to shop around as I'm nearing the halfway point in my second. There are a lot of questions that I want to ask now that I've gotten my feet wet.
Don't get me wrong. My publisher did a great job and I only have a hand-full of complaints...most of which, they have taken care of but my biggest problem is that they are from the States. I have to do some real finagling to get around the pricy brokerage fees and the huge shipping costs that they want to charge ($12 per book! Sheesh).
Saying this...I am looking for a GOOD Canadian publisher. There are a million companies out there so a little input will help me weed out the riff-raff. Just reply or send me an email at effexus3@yahoo.com or bondyacc@gmail.com. MUCH APPRECIATE

Finally Back
Promote…promote…promote. I’m lovin’ it. My newest endeavors have placed my books at the Leamington Art Gallery (gift shop). I’m waiting for confirmation from the Windsor Metropolitan Hospital (gift shop). You can now also find my books at the Pelee Wings Nature Shop near the Point, and am awaiting a response from the Point Pelee Visitor Center (gift shop). The Essex Historical Railway has my books in their gift shop. These are only a few of the new places that I’m hoping will feature my books. It’s really quite exciting…but so time consuming, and I have such a crazy program of work over the next 2 months.
